The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Student Portfolio Competition endeavors to generate the best collection of student design projects for review. Instead of requiring a single project for judging, ASID asks students to upload their entire portfolio for judging. Students will submit their portfolios, resume, and written statement to an online portal. The intent is to evaluate all aspects of a student’s work: the concept for how the student thinks; the content of the work submitted; and the context of the student’s record of achievement.

Submissions will be evaluated in a three part process. Finalists will be invited to attend an exclusive student portfolio track at LAUNCH: The ASID National Student Summit, hosted at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), February 26-28, 2016. Finalists will work with industry professionals to polish their resume, portfolio, and presentation skills, culminating in a presentation of their portfolios to a panel of judges. The winner(s) of the competition will also have the opportunity to present their portfolios to LAUNCH: The ASID National Student Summit attendees.

Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. EST on January 12, 2016.

Submissions received by 11:59 p.m. EST on December 17, 2015 will receive a discount code valued at $45 to attend LAUNCH: The ASID National Student Summit.
